    Itinerary

    Day 1

    Arrival in Paro – Warm-Up Ride

    Begin your Bhutan cycling holiday in Paro, the gateway to the kingdom. Take a light ride through traditional villages and farmland to get accustomed to the altitude. Visit Rinpung Dzong and enjoy your first glimpse of the Himalayas.

    Day 2

    Paro to Thimphu (65 km)

    Your journey begins with scenic off-road cycling in Bhutan, following rivers and pine forests towards Thimphu. This route offers a perfect mix of gravel and smooth stretches — ideal for testing your legs and camera. Evening free to explore the capital.

    Day 3

    Thimphu to Dochula Pass (35 km)

    The real adventure starts as you climb towards Dochula Pass (3,100 m), one of the most stunning high-altitude routes for mountain biking in Bhutan. The winding ascent, prayer flags, and 108 stupas at the summit make this ride unforgettable.

    Day 4

    Dochula to Punakha (50 km)

    Enjoy a thrilling downhill descent into the warmer valley of Punakha, one of Bhutan’s ancient capitals. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong and rest by the river — a blend of adventure and tranquility in one perfect day.

    Day 5

    Punakha to Phobjikha (70 km)

    Cycle deep into the mountains on one of the best mountain biking trails in the Bhutan Himalayas. The route to Phobjikha Valley offers forest trails, suspension bridges, and the thrill of riding through remote Himalayan wilderness.

    Day 6

    Explore Phobjikha Valley Trails

    Spend a full day riding through the open plains and pine-covered hills of Phobjikha. Visit Gangtey Monastery, and experience life in rural Bhutan. Ideal for riders seeking eco-friendly mountain biking in Bhutan’s cultural villages.

    Day 7

    Return Ride via Dochula – Thimphu

    Day 8

    Departure from Paro
