Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to hotel. Evening orientation and welcome dinner.

Day 2

Thimphu Tour

Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Visit National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma statue, and local markets.

Day 3

Thimphu - Punakha

Journey to Punakha via Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong and explore the valley.

Day 4

Punakha - Gangtey / Phobjikha

Travel to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley, winter home of the rare black-necked cranes.

Day 5

Gangtey - Paro

Return to Paro. Visit local farmhouse and experience traditional Bhutanese hospitality.

Day 6

Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery

Full day hike to the famous Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery. Afternoon at leisure in Paro town.

Day 7

Depart Paro

Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
