What Every Cultural Tour Includes

Each of our Bhutan cultural tour packages includes the Sustainable Development Fee, hotels, all meals, a private vehicle and driver, a licensed English-speaking guide, taxes and entry fees. Prices start from US$300 per person per day, and group discounts are available. In addition, we can add festivals, hot stone baths or a visit to a local archery match to any trip.

Right now the Sustainable Development Fee is USD 100 per night, half the standard rate set by Bhutan’s official tourism site. However, this lower rate is confirmed only until 31 August 2027. We have been licensed since 2012 and have welcomed more than 2,000 travellers.

Best Time for a Cultural Tour in Bhutan

Spring, from March to May, and autumn, from September to November, bring clear skies and the biggest festivals. Meanwhile, winter is sunny and quiet, and it is the season of the black-necked cranes in Phobjikha. Finally, summer is green and peaceful, with rain most afternoons. How many days do I need?

In general, seven days is enough for the western valleys. For central Bhutan, plan ten days, and for the far east, about two weeks.

Can I join a festival?
