About these tours
A luxury Bhutan tour pairs the kingdom’s temples, passes and valleys with some of the finest lodges in Asia. You wake to mountain views, eat food made from local farms and return each evening to a hot stone bath or spa. Meanwhile, a private guide and driver handle every detail, so your only job is to enjoy the journey.
We are a local team in Thimphu, licensed since 2012. As a result, we know each valley, each lodge and the small extras that make a trip special, from a private butter lamp ceremony to a picnic above Punakha Dzong.
Bhutan limits tourism to protect its culture, so even the best sights never feel crowded. In addition, lodges are small and set in quiet valleys, often with only a few dozen rooms. You see dzongs and monasteries with an expert guide, then return to fine food, warm fires and deep silence.
Every trip is private. We shape the pace around you, add rest days when you want them and arrange special moments, such as blessings with monks, archery with locals or a farmhouse dinner.
Spring, from March to May, and autumn, from October to November, bring clear skies and festivals. However, winter is wonderful too, with sunny days, cosy lodges and fewer visitors. For weather and visas, read our Bhutan travel information guide.
Lodge journeys are priced on request, because rates depend on the lodges, the season and your room. Our honeymoon tour starts from US$550 per person per day, and the final price depends on your hotels. Every trip includes the Sustainable Development Fee, lodge stays, all meals, a private guide and driver, taxes and entry fees.
The Sustainable Development Fee is USD 100 per night right now. That is half the standard rate set by Bhutan’s official tourism site. However, this lower rate is confirmed only until 31 August 2027. We have been licensed since 2012 and have welcomed more than 2,000 travellers.
Yes. Many guests combine lodges by valley, for example one brand in Paro and another in Gangtey. We help you choose the best mix for your budget.
Six to nine months for spring and autumn, because the top lodges fill early. Winter and summer are easier.
Yes. Most lodges welcome children, and we adjust the pace and activities for younger travellers.
