About this tour
This Bhutan hiking tour gives you the best walks in the kingdom without a single night in a tent. Each day, you hike to a cliff temple, a high monastery or a ridge of prayer flags, and each evening you return to a warm hotel, a hot shower and a good dinner.
It suits you if you love walking but want comfort, or if you are short on time. Your private guide and driver plan each day around the weather, so you always get the best views.
It is easy to moderate. Most hikes take two to four hours, and the longest, to Phajoding, takes about six hours return. Because you start low and climb higher each day, your body adjusts naturally.
March to May and late September to November are ideal, with clear trails and mild days. Spring brings rhododendron in flower, while autumn brings the best mountain views. For packing tips, read our Bhutan travel information guide.
